Environmental Monitoring: Industrial Waste Characterization

Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes), Regulations, 2005 requires waste producer to notify the Department of Environment of the categories and quantities of waste generated that are listed in the regulations concerned. The waste generated shall also be properly packed and labeled in accordance with the regulations concerned. Often, this is a difficult task as the type or content of the wastes is unknown. Identification of type and content of the wastes is essential for treatment and disposal purposes.

ACL offers extensive experiences for the inspection, sampling, analysis and characterization of industrial wastes to help our clients comply with the regulations concerned. The collected industrial waste samples are analyzed by our laboratory, which is a SAMM ISO/IE 17025 accredited laboratory.
