Chemical Analysis:  Food & Nutrition:  Vitamins Analysis
Vitamins are commonly found in food products either in its natural forms or as additives. However vitamins used as additives are subjected to the statutory conformity, i.e the Ministry of Health Malaysia through Food Act. Some Vitamins such as Vitamin A and C are mandatory in certain nutrition facts labeling. The vitamins tested by ACL include the following:
  • Vitamin A (Retinol, Beta Carotene).
  • Vitamin B1 (Thiamine).
  • Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin).
  • Vitamin B3 (Niacin).
  • Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid).
  • Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine).
  • Vitamin B9 (Folic Acid).
  • Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin).
  • Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid).
  • Vitamin D (D2, D3).
  • Vitamin E (Tocopherol).
